Hello, my name is Michael Alford and I'm an Adobe award-winning UX/UI Designer. I've specialized in site-wide redesigns and eCommerce UX. I work with apps like Sketch and Adobe XD to create interactive wireframes and compositions from client requirements.
I also have a developer background so I can help style and develop alongside a team of developers. In addition to my design work, I'm a terrific public speaker and have experience in hosting conventions and standup comedy. Locker Room is a custom Angular application made for the Marucci Sales team to replace their older system powered by OrderMyGear. The application allowed the creation of custom stores for teams to buy gear for their upcoming season. Each store could be updated and created in our admin section by our sales team, and customers could log in into their Storefront with a store code.

Marucci owned a line of retail shops around the country. My work was to create a site that would allow store employees to publish their individual hours and membership rates, create location contact and membership forms, and improve performance.

Marucci Sports is the leader in professional and youth league baseball equipment and they needed a site that showcased just that. Marucci promoted many events, clubs, and products daily. My task was to work with the marketing team to design and develop pages for products like the Cat9 Bats, Marucci Sunglasses, and multiple fielding gloves. I also maintained and update their club pages from college to youth baseball organizations.
